Along with the price, she got a little certificate, a few trimmings all in a bag, there were a few other kidlets there getting their first trim, mostly little boys - who have to do this quite earlier and often! Another Instrument for Elina February 24 ,2006 Elina got a new little harmonica today. Daddy's been working alot and tonight we ate out and then spent some time at Mastermind then visited for a little while Madison - who used to live in the condo! They had a fun great time as usual. Elina needs more girl time! Speaking of which - tomorrow night, I'm hosting a evening with the ladies, my great Aboriginal women here in Toronto! Moving to Senior Room February 21 ,2006
The next scarey thing that was evident is that Elina is starting Jr. Kindergarden next September, next September our baby is starting school! Its something we have to think about because Elina is scheduled to go to either Kimberly Public School or St. John's Catholic School, neither of which our daycare provides the walk-to's to! (make sense??). So either they change their options on which schools they provide this service to or Elina moves to yet another daycare sigh!! Happy Birthday Stella (bella!) Torino 2006 February 16 ,2006 I regularly read an english version of a Norwegian newspaper and tonight found this very heart-warming clip - Canadians hail Norwegian coach's sportsmanship - a really great story of how a Norwegian cross-country ski coach helped Canada get a silver metal in cross-country sprint relay! Seems I owe a few Norwegians I know a beer!! SKOL!! Elina and Dean enjoyed a walk together for some lunch after a quick visit to Riverdale Farm! She then played in a schoolyard park! Mommy and Daddy posed for a photo! All photos of this day compliments of Ellie (of Gus and Dean and Ellie) 
Here is Elina with her favorite junior teachers at her daycare. Left photo is of Moona and Ainsley (who coincidently spent her week's vacation in Torino at the Olympics!!) The photo to the left is of Linda (whom Elina refers to as Lala! She will certainly miss her teachers in the junior room but they assured her that they will visit her often and she can only go upstairs in the afternoons or mornings to visit her friends and teachers! 
Elina spent her last day in the Junior classroom today and tomorrow will start fresh as the youngest member of the senior class! I recall letting her start in this class at 19 months and how fearful I was at the older kids - how will she communicate with kids that are 2 1/2 years old! Well, soon realized that the younger kids learn mostly from the big kids, because she certainly did, now she moves on only to learn more in the next level! 
Alas, Elina had her first haircut and without our digital camera, I snapped one of her with my mobile phone camera! There are a few kids salons in the beach and she loved it! Playing first in the room of balls with other kids who had their haircut and then sitting in a fire engine seat and getting her first trim. No bangs, just a trim! 
Yesterday we got notification that Elina's moving to the Senior room at her daycare! She was offered a spot 3 months ago but I turned it down in favor of her spending time with children her own age, now as it turns out she's the Godfather of the class. She'll be reunited with Ronan and Madison, her two pals who went down at that time. On Feb. 28 she'll have an official graduation party!
Happy Birthday little Stella Bella...Connor's little sister, turned one this past weekend and all her little friends gathered to celebrate with cake a goodies from the Malik family! As usual Lori did a great job hosting a fun party!

to write much just wanted to wish you all a Happy Valentine's Day! Here Elina holds the roses that she and daddy got mommy for Valentine's Day!
