We flew with Continental Airlines out of Newark (NYC) - simple flight over, very complicated flight back with weather delays and endless lineups! The flights from NCY to Oslo were fantastic! |

| Tjome - A Few Days by the Sea |
We spent 4 days in Tjome - 125 KM south of Oslo. We spent time with Elin and her children and with Anders and Erik and Helene. It was very warm and cool at night. Elina spent an afternoon swimming in the North Sea! I (Dina) got another bout of poison ivy!! (first was in Norway 2 years ago) |

| Baptism Ceremony - August 8, 2004 |
She was baptised on August 8. In Norway you have an option to choose more than one Godparents, so we got Elin and Henrik (Herman's sister and brohter-in-law) and Erik and Kristi! Herman's sister Charlotte hosted a beautiful party afterwards in her beautiful home! |

| 1st Birthday |
Elina turned 1 on August 9, one day after the big party. We had a childrens dinner and a nice cake. The kids spent time swimming, playing on trampoline and eating cake, icecream and popsicles - all of which Elina ate! She got some cute presents - some of which require us to learn Norwegian!! |
